Never forsaken

Jesus cried out on Calvary, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” He was forsaken so we would be forgiven. He gave His life so we’d have eternal life. He sacrificed so we could be saved.

And now, like the Israelites, we do not need to be afraid. We are not alone. The Lord goes before us. The Spirit is with us. Jesus is calling out to us. God will not leave us or forsake us. We can rest in His power and truth.
