We are in the middle of praying scriptures for our husbands all this month. If you missed any, you can catch up on the left, or just start off where we are!
Day 9: Praying for His Purpose
Lord, you have created my husband for a reason. I pray that you will give him a clear vision for the purpose of his life. Please flood his heart with light so that he can understand the confident hope You have called him to (Eph 1:18). I pray that You would enable him to live a life worthy of his call. Please give him the power to accomplish all the good things his faith prompts him to do. (2 Thess 1:11) I especially ask for clarity in this area __________.
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:10
For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.
Philippians 2:13

and lean not on your own understanding;
and lean not on your own understanding;

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.
fear the LORD and shun evil.
8 This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones.
and nourishment to your bones.

dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

and he will give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
